Music Library of the "Friends of Music Society" at the Athens Megaron "Why do they shut me out of heaven?" A lyrical evening inspired by Women's Poetry The brilliant words of women poets inspired the creations of important composers of the extensive repertoire for voice and piano. Their poetry is highlighted through a program which brings to the forefront works of rare beauty of the Greek and international repertoire for voice and piano. Soprano Lydía Zervanos, in yet another unique collaboration with acclaimed pianist Dimitris Giakas, present works to poetry by Emily Dickinson, Anna Akhmatova, Elisabeth Kulmann, Marina Krassa-Zora, Sara Teasdale, Myrtiotissa, Marika Pipiza-Mantzouni set to music by composers A.
